Looking for the best beach clubs in Trogir? As locals we have to admit the pretty town of Trogir itself doesn't have so many nice beaches. But just a few minutes' drive away is the pretty island of Ciovo and the Trogir Riviera. Here you'll find some of Croatia's most relaxing and idyllic beach clubs.
Lounge all day at elegant Laganini (below), enjoy castaway vibes at Borkko Beach Club, or relax after an adrenaline-packed wakeboarding or waterski session at De Madera Beach Club. Here's our favourite beach clubs near Trogir for summer 2025!
Relax in style at Brown Beach House just a short walk from Trogir Old Town.
The Best Trogir Beach Clubs for 2025
1. Brown Beach House Croatia (Trogir)
Although strictly speaking it's a gorgeous 4-star boutique hotel, the Brown Beach House boasts a stunning beach club that's just minutes from Trogir Old Town. It's located in an old tobacco warehouse which used to process and ship this important local crop.
Guests have access to the beautiful swimming pool and beach club set in a pretty little bay with great views of Trogir Old Town and the mountainous coastline. It's the ideal spot for a romantic getaway for two, but if you bring the kids along there's plenty to keep them busy including the inflatable waterpark. The beach club here is open to those not staying at the hotel, but bear in mind that they only serve drinks here and you'll need to pay in cash.
There are plenty of sun loungers and amenities at Brown Beach Club Trogir.
If you're feeling peckish, head to the Cartina restaurant set on a elegant terrace overlooking the sea. Fresh, locally-caught seafood and fish are the main meal, bu they also do a great steak and fries cooked just the way you like it. Guests in the hotel also have access to the heated indoor pool and the spa area if you need to unwind even more!
How to get to Brown Beach House:
Walking from Trogir Old Town: Brown Beach House is just a 10-15 minute walk from Trogir Old Town across the bridge on the island of Ciovo.
Driving from Trogir: You can drive to Brown Beach House via the main bridge over to Ciovo from Trogir Old Town. It's literally a 5 minute drive (although traffic can be slower in high summer).
Laganini Beach Club is located in the gorgeous and unspoilt Labadusa Bay on Ciovo island.
2. Laganini Beach Club (Ciovo)
For Ibiza vibes and out-of-this-world crystal clear azure waters, head to lively Laganini Beach Club on the island of Ciovo. What makes this place so magical is the incredible setting in the unspoilt Labadusa bay on the south coast of the island. It's a great place to just switch off and unplug.
Enjoy the seaviews and chilled vibes at Laganini Beach Club on the island of Ciovo.
Laganini Beach Club is a firm favourite with both locals and visitors thanks to the chic aesthetic, friendly staff, and comfortable lounge areas. Compared to the more famous (and crowded!) beach clubs in the area like Hula Hula or Carpe Diem on Hvar, Laganini is still under-the-radar.
You should find a spot to call your own if you arrive mid-morning in high season or if you're after something a bit more special you can call ahead and reserve a cabana or bed. There's an entry fee of 3 euros per person at Laganini Beach Club and most of the seating in the bar is free to use if you're ordering food and drinks. Larger beds and lounge sofas at Laganini start at 40 euros per day with a minimum spend of 50-200 euros depending on the size of the area.
We recommend staying here all day and soaking in the chill island vibes. The restaurant here is a great choice for lunch with a strong focus on local seafood and fish. Don't miss the exquisite seared tuna steak and Lemon Burrata salad!
How to get to Laganini Beach Club (Ciovo):
Driving from Trogir Old Town: Laganini is just a 15-minute drive from Trogir Old Town so that can be a convenient option. Traffic can be slow in the summer, and there is limited parking at Labadusa bay, so aim to arrive in the morning in high season and on weekends!
Uber or Taxi: This can be a better option if you're planning to enjoy a few drinks or you don't want to deal with parking. You should easily find a ride out to Laganini, but bear in mind that getting back can be trickier and wait times may be longer especially at busy times when everyone is heading back to town.
Bus: Another option is to take the number 44 bus from Trogir Bus Station and get off at the PIVETOVA GLAVICA 1 stop. It's a 10-minute ride followed by a 20-minute walk down to Labadusa bay.
Boat: Hire a water taxi from Trogir or come with your own charter yacht. Laganini is located in a calm bay which is popular with sailboats and cruisers. If you need assistance, we're happy to help you charter a boat or book a water taxi - feel free to send us a message here.
The shaded bar area at Borkko Beach Club has amazing sea views.
3. Borkko (Ciovo)
Our personal favourite is Borkko Beach Club on the island of Ciovo just around the corner from Laganini. For us it's one of the best beach clubs in Trogir because it just feels like a castaway paradise! Every time we come here we feel so relaxed and disconnected from the stresses and concerns of the real world, even though this pretty bay is only a short drive away from Trogir.
We also like this Trogir beach club because it's just very laidback. Things here happen island-style. Sunloungers and beds are free as long as you're buying from the bar, and you can reserve ahead by sending them a message over Instagram. The drinks prices also a lot more normal than the fancier beach clubs in Hvar, and even in high season there' still room to move around and find a spot to yourself. Light bites are also available here such as sandwiches and chicken and fries, or you can head to the nearby Konoba Duga in the next bay for a more substantial lunch.
How to get to Borkko Beach Club (Ciovo):
Driving from Trogir Old Town: Borkko is a few bays over from Laganini, so it is also just a 15-minute drive from Trogir Old Town. Traffic can be slow in the summer, so aim to arrive in the morning in high season and on weekends. There is a large parking site at the beach club which tends to fill up at peak times.
Uber or Taxi: This can be a better option if you're planning to enjoy a few drinks or you don't want to deal with parking. As with Laganini you should easily find a ride out to Borkko. Getting back can be trickier and wait times may be longer especially at busy times in the late afternoon and evening when all the beachgoers are heading back.
Bus: Another option is to take the number 44 bus from Trogir Bus Station and get off at the PIVETOVA GLAVICA 1 stop. It's a 10-minute ride followed by a 20-minute walk down to Borkko Beach Club.
Boat: The easiest and most relaxing option is to come by boat. You can either hire a water taxi from Trogir to Borkko or come with your own charter yacht. Borkko has its own small dock area where you can disembark. If you'd like to do this, we can help you secure the best price and boat options. Just fill out our contact form here.
Another easy option to visit Borkko or Laganini Beach Clubs is via a private or group boat tour of the islands. Some operators stop either at Borkko or Laganini for their smaller boat trips, as well as stopping off at gorgeous beaches and bays along the way that are only really accessible by boat. We like this half-day speedboat trip which takes you to the stunning Blue Lagoon as well as pristine Labadusa Bay where Laganini is located.
Another fun option is this 3-island speedboat tour from Split which takes you snorkelling in the clearest azure waters on the island of Solta as well as time spent relaxing at Borkko Beach Club and in Trogir itself. You can also book a private boat trip and create your own itinerary if you want to really go off the beaten track and see the beaches only locals know about. If you'd like help arranging this, feel free to send us a message here.

4. De Madera Beach Bar & Club (Kaštel Štafilić)

More Things to Do in Trogir
Ask any local and they'll tell you the best place to be in Dalmatia is in or on the water. We always recommend that visitors try to see a couple of islands while they're here. You can take a ferry from Trogir to visit the charming backwater islands of Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli (big and small Drvenik) or to Slatine on Ciovo island.
Alternatively, you can see a lot more by taking a three or five-island day trip. These tours take you to some truly stunning places including the Blue Cave, which literally glows blue on a sunny day, and the gorgeous little fishing town of Komiža on Vis island. Below are some of the boat trips that we personally recommend.
